depends on how old you are...how heavey...what is your regular blood pressure.....if you are around 30's or 40's the blood pressure sounds ok but the heart rate is alittle fast....but then again some people are naturally like that....

I'm 19, and I have high blood pressure. It can be hereditary, several member of my family have it. But it's also one of those things that just happens. The good thing is your diastolic number (the bottom one) isn't that high. Are you on medication for it? Your doctor may prescribe Lisinopril (or something equal) and possibly a "water pill" (Hydroclorothyizide). You may or may not be urged to loose a few pounds. High blood pressure among youth (which not commonplace) is becoming more common. No one knows why, but it's probably because society doesn't exercise as much & eats the wrong foods. You'll be okay once you start on pills. The only downfall is that you (and I) will probably never get off the pills. People can have them reduced, if they manage it well, but you never recover from high blood pressure.

You really should speak to your physician about your blood pressure. Nothing to play with. 120 / 80 is ideal.

You want to keep the systolic under 140 (top number)
You want to keep the dystolic under 90 (botton number)
Not sure about the heart rate - but 88 is pretty high for aheart rate - I would think more around 75-80 is ideal.

I am not a doctor and I strongly suggest you speak with your physicial directly to get sound medical advice.

That is an okay bp. 120/80 is the ideal pressure. as long as you are somewhere in that range, you are fine. Even though you use your own monitor, you should still see your doctor. Take the monitor to your Dr's office and have him/her use your monitor and then use theirs to see how accurate your is.

its not that bad but its close to border line, mine is 118/68 which is normal, be careful about the wrist monitors they are always accurate, upper arm is still the best way to go
