The sports camp I'm going to start going to next week only has co-ed showers. I was told "don't worry, it's not embarassing, everyone is as nervous as you are, so just get over it". But I am really nervous.

the camp i went to had the same deal. i got over it, but my friend was too shy and showered in the private stalls by the pool everyday. if you have a pool with shower stalls, just go there and shower if your shy. otherwise, just count the tiles and leave.

The term 'co-ed showers' at some camps means that there are multiple showers in one area for the boys and and multiple showers for the girls in another. Not individual showers like at home. A wall of shower headsso that many can wash in little time.
