Look up point-slope formula in your book, plug the points in and solve the equation for y.

if the coordinates of the two points are (x1,y1),(x2,y2) then the equation will be (y-y1)/(y2-y1)=(x-x!)/(x2-x1)
1.(3,0) and (0,-4) y/-4=(x-3)/-3 =>-3y=-4x+12
=>4x-3y-12=0

2.(-2,3) and (-3,-1) (y-3)/-4=x+2/-1=>-y+3=-4x-8
=>4x-y+11=0

3.(4,-1) and (-2,-6) (y+1)/-5=(x-4)/-6=>-6y-6
=-5x+20=>5x-6y-26=0

4.(-3,6) and (9,6) since the y coordinates are the same the equation is y=6

5.(-2,0) and (0,3) y/3=(x+2)/2=>2y=3x+6
=>3x-2y+6=0

6.(9,-5) and (12,6) (y+5)/11=(x-9)/3=>
3y+15=11x-99=>11x-3y-114=0

7.(-3,5) and (2,1) (y-5)/-4=(x+3)/5
=>5(y-5)=-4(x+3)=>4x+5y-13=0

8.(-7,2) and (-7,-6) since the x coordinates are the same the equation is x=-7=>x+7=0

man all u have to do is get a hold of some graph paper draw yourself a y and an x axis plot your points and then use y= mx +b to solve.

Dude, you need to ask your teacher or a tutor to teach you how to do one and then you will be able to do all these problems yourself. This will prepare you to pass a test on this material with ease. Good luck to you, it is okay to ask your instructor for help.
