I am a resident of California and i hate how expensive it is here.
A friend of mine moved to Oregon and said it is soo much better!
How much is it to get a home? Or land?

Does oregon have good farm land?

The question isn't about Kentucky it's about Oregon. That's comparing apples and oranges. If he asked where some of the cheapest places in the country are, then Kentucky would be a reasonable answer. But he was asking about Oregon. I'm sure there was some reasoning behind asking for cost of moving to Oregon, i.e. they want to live there for some specific reason. Not just looking for a place that's cheap to move to for the sake of being cheap. And also...Nobody wants to move to Kentucky - probably a large part of the reason it's relatively cheap to live there, because there's not a lot of demand for real estate there.

But I digress. I believe greater Portland is relatively expensive and rural Oregon is less expensive. And I say relative because it's probably still cheaper than parts California, i.e. San Francisco. Also there's no state sales tax in Oregon.

And it has good farmland, yes.

Kentucky is more afordable & has better farm land than Oregon. The Bluegrass Country around Lexington is some of the best land in the US. Louisville & Lexington also have lower unemploment rates (both under 2%) than any city in Oregon.

Oregon in fairly cheap I know my Parents live up there and they love it they live in Coos bay and it's right by the beach so you don't have to miss that and also it's inbetween the mountains and stuff so you can go snow bording or something but believe me it's so much cheaper than Cali.!
