I'm going to assume for the moment that you are who you say you are. This is not a playground. There are some nasty people here. Some on the left and some on the right.

If you want to have a discussion on current events or history, especially politics, try this:

Do some research on the questions, go back a few days and read the last couple of hundred or so (if it sounds like homework, it is. I used to be a math teacher.)

You'll soon see that there are "questions" that are really statements saying nasty things about politicians and others on this site. Ignore them for the most part. Don't get involved.

Perhaps 1 in 10 or 15 is a legitimate question, seeking information. That's what this site is for.

If you have questions, type them out and edit them before posting them. Nothing will get some people (including me) more ticked off than a poorly worded/spelled question.

Read the community guidelines. Asking for ages is a no/no. So, asking for 15 year-olds will get you into trouble with Y!A.

One reason that I suggested that you go back and read the questions is so you don't repeat, "Who do you think will win the presidential election in 2008?" and other frequently asked questions. They get asked a number of times a day. BORING.

Be original, but not too local. We won't know who your mayor is, unless it's a big city that is in the national news frequently.

Do some of your own research. That's what the search engines are for. Yahoo provides their own and Wikipedia for you to use. Learn how to use them. I've found some very useful info to refute some claims by the 'bad guys' on here. Of course, they ignore it. That's one of the things that make them bad.

Good luck. I hope to see some good questions and answers from you in the near future.
