This is probably a common tendancy among not only Americans but the human race in general. However, I can understand the perception that Americans seem to exhibit this trait more so than some other countries. I suppose you could attribute some of it to the fact that one of the founding principles of America was capitalism. Basing any society on this philosophy is bound to encourage the attitude of profit motivation. And of course, wherever profit is a concern, money (or any form of currency) becomes the equivalent of an idol. And like an idol, it is worshipped and those who are more intimate with it (i.e., have more of it) are regarded with almost religious awe and respect, as if obtaining it is some great spiritual feat worthy of honour. In reality of course, money can be obtained in any number of ways, honest or dishonest, through hard work or sheer luck, etc.
So, to make the connection with your question, Americans worship the dollar because it represents the answer to all their materials needs and desires. They will kiss the shoes of a rich man because they want to be closer to it and perhaps even hope that this worship may lead to riches of their own. They will step on the poor because they feel (consciously or subconsciously) that money is the only thing of true value and thus, those without it are of little value. There is also the psychological component in that people do not want to be reminded of how poor they could be, or rather, how much "poorer" they are than a relatively wealthier person (economic status).
You could also consider that power is a very large part of the purpose for the acquisition of wealth. Whoever has the gold makes the rules. And what good is power if you have no one to exercise it upon? But why would anyone want such power to invoke on other people to begin with? From a psychological viewpoint you could say that it stems from a fundamental insecurity or feeling of inadequacy that you are trying to quell. From an evolutionary standpoint you could argue that it is one manifestation of our instinct to survive. If that is the case, one could make a very simple connection between survival instinct and greed. The consequence of this reasoning is that we as humans are genetically incapable of true and genuine altruism since everything that we do is based upon a basic instinct to survive. Perhaps transcending this primitive instinct will be the next paradigm of our evolution as a species. To do so would probably require a fusion of biology with technology as many have theorized, but I digress...

American capitalism is the worshipping of the greenback, no longer for adverse causes inspite of the undeniable fact that. it truly is used to provide human beings a more effective efficient existence, to convey them above the chains of poverty yet greed does exist. Greed is a human emotion that all and distinctive have and it unites us all in the this international no remember what language you communicate or the position you call your position. human beings do no longer worship the greenback, the international worships forex more often than not. lack of understanding breeds lack of understanding and please comprehend that the money you've is the same for u . s . a . of america. thanks on your question and that i'm hoping that possibly this helps.

Why are people like you so jealous of Americans having something that they say is so evil. If you don't like money you should be glad that we are willing to take it all for you.

So what your alluding to is it's all about feet.
And the agony of the feet.
No one from the U.S. will "kiss your shoes". That's from some other country.
