i stepped on a roach the other day and i feel real bad what can i do to get past the guilt im a real insect lover

Just think. You can be friends with lots of other bugs. You'll get over him in time. Just keep in mind that he's in a happier place.

Well if you did not mean to harm this "roach" Then forgive yourself,
he probably will be reborn as they keep coming back,
Last summer, i was very sensitive to the feelings of snails, and spiders. i even captured some that were iin my garden, and made them a home, the spider died, the snail, climbed out and was gone,
however, after so many snails kept eating my plants, i fell out of love lwith them and i started throwing them.. away from my yard,
When i throw them toward the pavement i say im sorry, before i hear the crunch when they land, and actually i am sorry, but i do not want them in my garden,
i personally hate roaches,
more lthan any insect,
next is a fly
you could always make friends with another one and his or her family, and invite them to live with you, rent free, and i bet before long, you will have your own roach planet.
so don't feel too bad,,

You can't bring back the roach. Its gone. All you can do is take better care in future. Feeling guilty about things that can't be helped is a waste of time. Good Luck.

Bury it, don't feel bad. In the words of Sarge, "Anything turns to gasoline when it dies, so if you want to be environmentally friendly, just KILL EVERY LIVING THING YA SEE!"
You'd be helping the gas problems.
