Go for it. Do whatever feels right for you. If that means being in a same sex relationship, you should do it and feel proud of who you are. At 15 I doubt you will be going to any bars, but I know when I was in high school none of my lesbian friends ever had a hard time finding a girlfriend on campus. Hit the soccer and softball teams.

The person who answered above you is impersonating a very nice lesbian who doesn't deserve that. It's not real advice; don't worry.

You can always use personals (online or newspaper) or go to a lesbian bar. If your town's got an LGBT paper, look there. But I'd think that daytime activities that attract women--political activism, running groups, softball (and you can just cheer and watch!), etc. would be better, if you want a relationship that goes slow.

GOOD LUCK!!!

There is NO time limit on acting on your feelings. I am bi,didn't act on it until I was 35. There's no rush,if you are, you'll be that way forever,so wait until you find someone worthy of YOU. Don't rush into sex with anyone, until you are ready. When you do that,it's not worth anything anyways. It will come when the time is right, the one you are seeking,be safe, and by all means enjoy being a teenager right now,the rest shall come later =o))

If you are ready then go find yourself a gal, visit a local gay bar/hangout... unless you are underage... how old are you??? if you are still in school it may be a little harder. Friends make the best lovers, you have to be friends first but don't try making out with any of your straight friends, you might get punched...

I'm going through the same thing, (I'm fifteen sophomore, a female, and have good grades) except more of a bi relationship, so I'm curious to see what some of the answers are. Good luck!

hi :D i'm so glad you asked this!!! hahaha. well i'm 16 and ever since i was in junior high, i knew i was lesbian. i crushed on friends and part of me hated it because well, i could never be like everyone else, gagging over the guys. when i started highschool, i pretended to be into guys but it just felt so...stale! in the middle of my sophomore year though, after several other girl crushes i had just kinda blown off, i met this great friend. she made me laugh and when i felt myself wanting to spend every minute of the day with her, i knew i was falling for her too. except this time it was different. it was real. i felt loved. special? so i told her about my sexual prefrence and to my happiness, she was gay too. we started going out in january and now here we are, in august. with the love she gave me, she filled me with strength and i was able to come out to my friends. it's awesome being able to be yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D good luck and email me if you want to talk. i'm open for friendship! love, mary.

It is just like any other relationship...be careful with your heart. Don't rush things. You'll know when it's right.
