can any one tell me how to properly write a short story? (orgranizing it and etc.) and tell me when i can see samples of good short stories. i would really appreciate this

A short story is basically any story that isn't long enough (or classified by the author as) a novel. Some can be a short as a few pages and some top 100. You can find excellent short stories in a lot of places and most of the famous authors have written at least a few. Check out The Literature Network (Sry, I don't know the full URL) for most of the greats.

A short story speaks for itself. Its short. It may contain little detail and not much going on in the story before you make it end.

There are books you can find that are used in college english courses that are excellent for highschool and middle school examples of short stories. Go to your nearest college bookstore or website and find a book that you like.

How short do you want it exactly? I thought of once that I tell to my little brother sometimes.
One day there was a chicken, and somehow, everyone died. The End.
maybe you could get something from that but I'd reccomend help elsewhere.

try reading o. henry...he has a lot. The Gift of the Magi is a famous one.

it is like a short essay, it has a brief beg. middle and end. normally has a topic. hopes this helps..
