Probably caused a serious injury accident while driving like a madman.

He better get a good lawyer! In IL, that's a class 4 felony. The max penalty is 1 - 3 in the state pen. A long driver's license suspension or even a permanent ban may be in the cards as well.

Just higher insurance rates should show him the error of his ways. Enroll him in a driver course to take that ticket off his record. Then look up a high performance driving school and turn him over to the car control specialists. Training at a race track on a road course really helps. Public road for people to get to and from work and school. Race track for fun and burnouts and spins and dragstrip for acceleration with out police and tickets.

Most states its a felony that's big time. Could be driving at double the speed limit to get charged with that, all depends on the state. More then likely a lot more serious in other words didn't care about others

That seems like him! Race car drivers love speed don't they? He shouldn't drive like an idiot to begin with! I've heard stories of people laughing because they were high and/or drinking and driving. They might think it's funny, but it's not. They could seriously hurt some one! however the same goes for driving like a mad man or an idiot.
