Wouldn't this have gone better in Mathematics rather than Geography? Plus, this seems more like algebra rather than geometry. A minor distinction perhaps.

Slope intersept form is simply y=mx+b, where m is the slope, and b is the y-intercept. Merely solve for Y in terms of X and you'll have the answer. For example, if the question was 2y-4x=2, then you would subtract 2x from both sides of the equasion, giving you 2y=4x+2, then divide by 2 to get y all by itself, giving you y=2x+1. The 2 in front of the x is the slope, and the 1 is the y-intercept (and no, I won't give you the answers, that defeats the purpose.) In the case of question 4, however, imagine that there is an imaginary 0x, with 0 being the slope. By the way, symplify all the equasions so you have a number times x, a number times Y, and another number, before you start the problem.

1. y=0 when x=+3.33333333 and x=0 when y=-2
2. y=0 when x=+2.5 and x=0 when y=-5
3. y=0 when x=-8/3 and x=0 when y=+8
4. y=0 when x=-3 and x=0 when y=+1
5. y is a line and is =+4 and there is no x intercept
6. y=0 when x=-1 and x=0 when y=+.5

1. y=3/5x - 2
2. y=2x - 5
3. y=3x + 8
4. y=2/3x - 2
5. y=4
6. y=1/2x = 2.5

And you posted this under geography, not geometry, there's a difference.
