Neither actually works. Use Covergirl.

Yes I love bareminerals it works so good I will never go back to a liquid foundation I have used it for 3 years now I have never tryed sheer cover because I like my bare minerals so much it coast $60 for the starter kit which comes with two foundation shades warmth, mineral veil and 3 brushes it is so worth it!I think everyone uses to much the first time but after a couple of day's you will get right. It look's natural and the warmth gives you a nice sun kissed look just don't use to much:)also the foundation generally last me like 2 mounths and then I just buy a new one which is $25 the warmth and the mineral veil last a long time I still have my warmth from 3 years ago.So I would just say try it I thought it sounded to good to be true at first but it really is great.Good luck!

I've tried both, and I found Sheer Cover to be better. Bare Essentials/Minerals can go on too strong unless you know exactly how to use the brushes. Sheer Cover does give you nice, natural looking coverage. Hope that helps.

i don't know what that girl is talking about, bare minerals do not look fake or doll like unless she is using way, way, way too much!! i use it and yes you get coverage--how much depends on how much you choose to use!! for me the sheer cover was too yellow, but you can experiment--i just bought the mineral makeup by physician's formula to try, it is cheaper than the bare minerals and i thought i would give it a shot ($9.95 walmart) so far, not bad, but i don't like the brush that came with it, so i am using my bare minerals kabuki brush to apply.
I suggest you try a few and see if you like them, I have been using bareminerals about 8 yrs or so. and love it!!

omg. bare minerals is amazing. the colors can mix together and match anyone. you should go to a store that caries bare minerals (i.e. Ultas beauty supplies). trust me. don't order it. they send you stuff you dont need. then get the regular brush, the blemish brush, and the travel brush just to start out with. pick the color (s) that you think match your skin tone best. get a container of mineral veil as well. then when you go to apply it, take the blemish brush (which covers very well) and apply where needed. then you use the larger brush to smooth the powder out. then the mineral veil to soften and even the tone out. it looks so good, and natural. it has SPF 15 in it. and it comes with a video that shows you how to use it. it is so awesome.

Bare minerals is the best ever.. be sure to go to a store tho so they can pick the color that is best for you.. the tv ads always include the warmth which is making too many people orangey.. but the foundation is awesome!

My friend has Bare Minerals. Unless you're a burn victim, this stuff's unnecessary. I think it works a little too well, makes your face look unnatural, kind of like a doll's face. You're better off using a tinted moisturizer for 1/4 of the price.

I think it must be Bare Minerals.

I say use a tinted moisturizer for any imperfections you want to cover... if that won't do, try using a nice and light conceler... A good idea would be the new airwhipped mouse kind of conceler.

i know for a fact that bare minerals doesn't, but i've never tried sheer cover. bare minerals makes you look extremely cakey and orange, especially if you're trying to cover a little pimple or dark spots. try sheer cover, but PLEASE don't waste your money and time on bare minerals!
