ESP, is Electronic Stability Program. Hence when you turn it off, you have no thing called traction control, and you can do wierd things with the jeep, if you want to fool around. Which I highly doubt you do. Is basically to help you keep the vehicle stable as a just in case you had to swerve to miss something, or worse. If that doesn't help, then maybe read into your owners manual, it should be able to better explain what it does and such.

Why don't you open up the nice little owner's manual and have a read? The nice people at Daimler-Chrysler put it in the glove box just for you to explain things like that! Wasn't that sweet of them?

By the way, here's your sign! http://geocities.com/univ_of_ignorance/

Crap, you have the money to buy that? Use your brain-look it up in the owners manual. That is in the glovebox in front of the passenger seat in the dashboard.

If it is on the Radio then it is an anti-skip function. It reads ahead so if you hit a bump it doesn't skip.
