I don't think it is the fear dying as much as it would be the concept of hurting when it happens!

It's not that people are afraid of being murdered. They might be afraid of pain or death in general. There are some horrific ways people are murdered every day. I remember a program on South African Television where they were talking about the farm killings: People tied a 70year old to the taps of his bath, with wire and then poured boiling water down his throat until he died. It is a horrible way to go, I think most people hope to die in their sleep.

Oh those people again. I dont know, but, I am not in pain now so I do not want to die right now. When I do feel pain, I know its serving some good purpose on earth like maybe an example for another person or so that I gain wisdom. You sounded suicidal so I am a bit sad now but I don't want to die, I'm afraid.

Wow, what a question.
Maybe because it's a horrible way to die?
There's no pain after but it's still grisly and what if the person slowly bleeds out? That's probably friggin' painful.

Oh, I found you. You are new...how did I know?'
I am a spy and I have found your question to be quite questionable. Your motive is under surveillance by the Great Yahoo Warriors who are always on the lookout for these kinds of coded questions. Be afraid, be veryyyy afraid.

Well then if you see being murdered this way, then thank God that your not our President or a Leader of any kind. I'd have to have some good running shoes with you around.

most people refuse to accept that death is a part of life. everyone has to die sometime, but people spend too much time worrying about the future, or dwelling on past to realize that they should be enjoying life in the present.

I don't think it's the fear of dying or even necessarily the fear of pain associated with dying. I think it's more the loss of control. That's like the ultimate loss of control...someone else deciding when, where and how you die.
