Why do he Always me tex instead of calling?

this guy i been known for like weeks that claims he really like me but he always tex's me instead of calling me?? why??

In addition to what other said above, he might either be shy, or afraid that he wouldn't have anything interesting to say that you would want to hear, or that you might not like him if you got to know him better.

Why don't you just tell him that you prefer to talk on the phone and see what he says?

It can be cheaper, but If I liked a girl, I'd want to hear her voice.
If he is texting from work, talking to you, may not be possible, but he still wants you to know, he's thinking of you.
So just ask him, why he's doing that.

Because, generally girls like to talk on the phone... It can get pretty expensive... or he expresses himself better when he writes ... don't sweat the details... he is contacting you and not ignoring you!

He's probably not alone, and is unable to make phone calls, not too hard to figure out.

My guess would be he's playing video games (at the same time) and it's easier to do that then have you get mad for not listening.
