with his daughter? Has not called or sent her anything in the mail in 2 1/2 years. Then goes in the courtroom and cries to the judge that he'll do anything to see his daughter cuz he loves her so. )He's on meth, too.

uh, this child was adopted, so sorry about your nasty "knocked up" line.

Judge has now stopped his visits completely.

See if he will trade in his child support payments for signing away his rights to your daughter.

My son's father is a "winner" as well. Loved the boy SO much but only saw him because his girlfriend and mother made him pick up the boy for Christmas 2 years ago.

My second husband and I are in the process of terminating my ex's rights. It was amazing how quickly he offered them up when he found out he no longer had to "support" his son.

I just told him maybe it was best for our son, and best for him. My son can always find this man later in life if he so chooses. Hopefully your ex would be easy to give up his rights.

I think he lacks the commitment and integrity it takes to be a good parent to his daughter. He needs to enter rehab and kick the meth habit because that is one most addictive drugs he could possibly be using right now. I don't think your daughter should be around someone who may be subjecting her to an unhealthy environment. I would ask the judge to subject him to a drug test and I would keep track of every visit he misses and when he does take her. If he does not take her for a certain amount of time (usually six months straight) you can usually claim child abandonment. Good luck....

what does it matter what i think? actually no one's opinion on here matters except your own. the only thing that asking something like that is just going to make you madder which in turn will make you think about it more and will make you madder. you're not going to change him, so just accept the fact that he is the way he is and that you got knocked up by him. as far as the meth thing, you can't sit here and tell me that you've never done anything stupid. i don't even know you and i can think of two. one being getting knocked up by a loser like this guy, and two would be airing out your personal business like this just to try to justify your own anger. grow up and get over it.

do your little girl a favor, offer the jerk some meth if he signs all rights away,he'll do it and then you can just forget to deliver, this way you have saved one more poor child from a life of hell
