Could it be the starter or spark plugs? It sometimes makes a soft rumbling while turning over.

If it cranks a long time then starts but dies then starts right up I would say you need a fuel pressure regulator.
The regulator adjusts the fuel pressure for the injectors by vacuum and if the diaphragm in the regulator has a leak the fuel will go directly into the intake.
That causes a flood condition and poor start.

You probably have some kind of alternator problem, where the electricity running to the spark plugs arent enough. Spark plug wires can be a source, along with a multitude of other components. It may be one thing, or a combination of a few other things. Take it to a mechanic to find the root of the problem.

Check the fuel line. Clean the spartkplug and check the battery. If the problem persist, it is the starter. Let a competent automotive electrician diagnose and if possible, rewind (overhaul) the defective starter.

Can try and do a tuneup on it, or even replace the fuel filter...Would be my first guess. Hope these help a little.
