Usually the best way it to pay off. if you owe large amounts of credit card debts most of them and financial institutions too will give you large discounts to settle. But under no circustances give them a check over the telephone or debit card check as they will take your money and give you nothning nut the entire amount due at once. you would have to get a lawyer to have them send a certified lette rstating their offers and go from there or their lawyers and them will screw you good. Other than that there is bankruptcy. If the amount owed is too large foryou to ever pay than bankruptcy may be best. It's rough now for a working stiff to go the bankruptcy route as it's been changed and favors the ulter rich. most banks and credit cards will go alone with you on payments to keep form losing it all but finance companies will eat you alive.

Start by getting rid of extras. Make your drinks to take with you. No stopping at the convenience store. Do not buy anything extra. Make a list, stick to it. Cut out newspaper and magazine prescriptions. Cut up your credit cards. Start with the one you owe the least amount on, pay the minium, the finance charge, and a extra 5 dollars. Pay it off then go to the next one. Cut your cable to basic cable. Cook at home. Take walks when you feel like spending.

Never roll over a debt.
Live within your means.
Recognize that images on tv are just that. Run from thoughts that you need to imitate people who spend a lot of money on worthless things.
