My sister and I each have a iPod Nano and seperate computers. Could I upload a song from a CD onto her computer and plug in my iPod to put the CD on it? What effect would it have on my iPod? Will the songs be erased or changed?

As long as you don't have it set to automatically update
Go to iPod options and select manual

You can upload a cd with the songs you want. Then in the computer that has the iTunes with YOUR songs, enter the CD and the songs from the cd will be added to your iPod. Nothing will happen to the other songs, they'll stay like that.

Hope this was usefull.

well, i think the smartest thing to do is to upload the CD onto YOUR computer/in YOUR library. If you plug it into your sister's computer/library all the songs originally on it will be erased, and replaced by your sister's songs.

take your sister's ipod. connect ipod to computer. go to itunes. click on button in lower right that looks like an ipod. go to the ipod tab. click enable disk mode (if not already enabled). go to "my computer". open up your ipods drive (whatever you named it). go to tools, folder options, view, hidden folders and files, show hidden folders and files. a folder will appear. click on it. click on the music folder. select all the folders. copy and paste to your pc. drag them into itunes.

now you will have all her music in your library as well as your own music.
repeat for her if she wants it.

taken from another post of mine.

nothing will happen to the music or the ipods.
