you have already got various reliable solutions. For the main section I agree that faucet-cons whilst used with the main dazzling sized drill bit paintings nicely. be careful to no longer get too long of a screw as a results of fact concrete blocks are hollow. you will have the desire to make optimistic the threads are biting interior the block. whilst you're protecting something with various weight to it, then i could propose the butterfly bolts in the process the middle of the block, or determine you're drilling interior the mortar seems to apply faucet-cons.

I,m not sure which type of screw you are talking about but if it is a six pointed star shape it may be what is called a 'Torx' head screw. These are used widely in automotive applications.

If it's a star pattern looking screw it's probably a Torx, if it's a cross shape it's probably a phillips

You can go to the store maybe Best Buy and/or other computer store such as CompUSA and ask the same question you have. They should be able to tell you.

I just checked my laptop, and the type of screws it has are the type you'd use a Phillips screwdriver for. (The screws with the little "plus" sign on them, instead of the slit).

As for the size, I've no idea! Wouldn't it vary somewhat, depending on the computer manufacturer? Then again, it's always good to have a SET of screwdrivers anyway, not just one. :) That's what I have.
