Inside the ear, or on the cartilage portion outside? On the cartilage, you can get bleeding from rubbing, etc. as there is very little between the skin and the blood vessels.
Inside the ear, you need to see a doctor. Good chance it would be a perforated eardrum.

An infection blowing your nose to hard (can cause nose bleeds as well) Having music toooooo loud in your ears for a long period of time

Burst spot in ear if not much, serious head injury... Any sign of straw colured liquid indicates fractured skull dont move him/her
insect actitivity, ear bud burst a spot or did other damage

perverated ear drum go to the doctor and get some antibiotics, you wont be able to get your ear wet for at least six weeks, my niece had that

ummmm if you have an earing and it got infected, it could bleed, or if your tear your ear by tugging on your earing o much

Sounds like you could have ruptured your eardrum.(don't panic). If you have this is the first sign of the healing process and you may need antibiotics for the infection,seek medical advice.
