"Flightplan," with Jodie Foster, is one of the best recent ones. It's mostly drama and suspense.
"Con Air," with Nicholas Cage, is a good action film that, for the first half, takes place on an airplane.
"Airplane" is a good comedy that spoofs other movies.

Red Eye was so incredibly weak.
Airplane is better. I'm sure Snakes on a Plane will be better.
Air Force One was really good. Harrison Ford is rad.
