Why do you need a one-hour door? Single family dwellings are not required to have these doors. Do you need an actual door or is this for an attic crawl hole through the ceiling? If the ceiling two layers of 5/8" sheetrock glued together will give you a one hour rating.

Home Depot or Lowes won't usually carry them except in major cities like New York. No need elsewhere. Try a local fireproof door manufacturer/supplier.

Lowes or Home Depot should have them. If not, they should be able to order one for you.

u will have to go to lowes or depot and get a steel unit.......u can get other than steel but it ill be special order...
