Task manager has been disabled by the administrator. That's what pops up when I push Crl Alt Delete. I can not access certain files because I do not have admin rites, and it is MY computer.

try a few of these...

1)
do start > run > control userpasswords2
-----up pops a window----
you should see a list of users and which group they're a member of

2)
do start > run > lusrmgr.msc > click 'ok'
-----up pops a window----
in the users folder you'll see all the usernames on your pc - right click each one, select properties, then the 'member of' tab, in this window anyone who belongs to the 'administrators' group has admin rights.

3)
do start > run > nusrmgr.cpl > click 'ok'
this should bring up the user accounts window.

don't forget to 'accept' this answer if any of these worked for you.

First off, disconnect yourself from the Internet. If you or others with administrator rights to your computer did not lock that information down, you may have a security breach.

Start up your machine in safe mode and assess the situation that way. It's entirely possible that safe mode will not work for you either depending on how the machine has been compromised. Try using the System Restore feature from Windows XP to revert your machine to a time when you still had administrator access.

The type of message you describe is generally an option set by a corporate administrator and administered through policies or registry hacks. Did you play with your registry recently?
