This is one of the most bizarre cases in history and will be studied in law schools for years to come. My daughter is a cop, and my daughter-in-law is a lawyer, and I used to be a cop. There are many layers to this case.

My hunch is that this new suspect did not act alone. There is more to this case than just a perv who got carried away. I think there was someone else down in the basement with him, if in fact he was down there at all. He may have done extensive research on this case and then used his knowledge to come up with a plausible scenario. By confessing to being "not innocent" in the Jon Benet murder he assured himself a ticket out of a Thai jail. We'll have to wait and see if he continues to claim involvment in the case.

I think it may be possible for him to be an accommplice, but something tells me there's more. Who could the other perp be? There are not an abundance of clues. But, God rest her soul, I do not believe Patsy Ramsey has been cleared yet.

More than likely it was a case of discipline gone awry. As far as the semen stains on the little girls underwear, that could have been planted, or this character who has come forward could have put it there. Yet, from the e-mails sent by him to Patsy that seems unlikely. I do not envy the prosecutors with this one.

In any case this was just another heinous crime committed by one of our citizens upon a helpless and extraordinarily beautiful child. I hope I live long enough to see this case solved.

Oh, by the way, my girls think the creep did it. Me? I'm not so sure yet.

I think it's really noble for the guy from Thailand to step up and declare he killed her (even though he stated it was an accident) - now they need to find the proof. According the 'guy' he had sex with her. According to the medical reports, on JonBenet, there was not signs of anything sexual , therefore, I think someone is paying him tons of money to take the blame for it. I would seriously look at the brother - afterall, the focus was on JonBenet not him - he had plenty of reason to be jealous and wish her dead.

I don't know. The parents still seem suspicious. I never knew about the guy from Thailand until this afternoon. Interesting. It's been 14 years. I think the family just needs some answers. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Funny, I just posted a question on this subject. My opinion? For over 10 years the Boulder police dept. had the FBI, the CIA, the KGB, AFLAC, and Geraldo all hell bent on proving that her parents had committed this crime. They had handwriting samples, lie detectors, extensive interrogations of both John and Patsy...and weren't able to prove a thing. Do ya think that maybe, just MAYBE, they DIDN'T DO IT???

i wish i was good at saving things i see and read, but recently there was a very eery likeness of Karr that was drawn freehand by a pyschic in the early days of the investigation...it looked amazingly like Karr... but, hopefully we will all find out the truth on this bizaare case...

Jon Carr. You know none of the family members did it. John and Patsey both passed the lie detector tests.

i always thought the parents were in cahoots. Then when this guy came out of nowhere I felt terribly guilty. Who will ever know for sure?
