How does Botox work and why does it freeze the face? Don't want it, just curious.

I didn't go anywhere. But since you've noticed, yes I am back to terrorize you. Party's over.

Botox works by paralysing the muscles groups it is injected to. It doesn't necessarily paralyse the muscle to the point where it can't move and the face looks frozen, but it can reduce the movement of the muscle to prevent dynamic wrinkles from forming. The downside is that it is only a temporary solution and needs to be repeated every 4-6 months. It can also cause long term problems such as muscle atrophy and drooping brows. HTH.

I dont know exactly how it works but its expensive and doesn't last. You have to keep getting it redone every so-many months. It is actually cheaper to get face lift (or whatever) than to do BOTOX

Im black, Botox not sure what I feel about it. I think it's just for people who aren't happy with themselves. I rather go for the person from natural beauty personally.
