The NXT Sensation has a little more grip to it so you get a bit of extra feel. It tends to fray a bit so you may be able to tell when they are about to break so you can break them out before a match and get them restrung. If the extra few dollars is not an issue the I would go for the NXT. The 18 gage does play better the the 16, but will break faster. Give it a shot I think you will feel a bit more control with it.

I don't really know but I use Wilson Sensation strings and I love them, they're the bast I've ever played with.
