Hezbollah, which has representative in the Lebanese government, shot 100 missiles a day into Israel for six days before Israel did anything back. Many innocent people were killed. When Israel retaliated, they did so by dropping leaflets that said exactly where they would be bombing so that there would be minimal casualties and they could succeed in blowing up the weapons that were being used against them. Israel was viciously attacked and responded in the most humane way possible, and I can tell you that Jews around the world are deeply sad that innocent people are having to die both in Israel and in Lebanon. Israel did not attack Lebanon in order to please God, but simply to protect their own children from the shrapnel.

Seniora the prime minister of Lebanon was put there by the Syrian government which sponsors Islamic Jihad and other terrorists. In Qana it was reported that over 50 people were killed by an Israeli air strike, Seniora later admitted that only 25 people were actually killed and that most about 20 were part of Hizballah who bombed a U.S. marine barracks and killed over 200 Americans. In a funeral bombing in Lebanon by the Israeli Air force the news said that over 30 people were killed, Hizballah told them that. Seniora a week ago told parliament that only one person was actually killed in the air strike, and it turned out to be the religious leader of Hizballah who preaches war on the U.S. and Israel. Don't believe everything you hear on the news. For real news go to www.powerlineblog.com.

"god" does not matter in this case.
The modern Israel is a secular state with absolutely no relation to the Israel of the Old Testament or to Biblical prophecy.
I suppose that a few Israel pilots enjoyed killing Arabs. I suppose that others found the deaths of civilians regrettable and/or disturbing.
