Who has read New Moon by Stephenie Meyer?

Question

Why are there so many release dates for New Moon?

First I heard, from www.stepheniemeyer.com, that the book was originally going to be released in August, then it changed to September, and then there was talk of October. On www.amazon.com it says the book will be released August 21... I assumed it was going to be released September 6, because that's what I was told by a Barnes & Noble employee and was shocked by a text message I receieved from a friend informing me that she had finished the second book, New Moon.

All is well, however, for I have the book. I finally bought the book yesterday night (as it was released August 6 in my state) and finished in the early hours of the morning (2AM, on a school day) today. I'm in love, truly.

All this makes me very curious as to if it's at MY bookstore. I was fortunate enough to read an advanced reader's copy...but I can't wait to actually buy the book and reread it. I LOVED it.

HEY!! well where i live it cam eout august 14th!?i know i heard alot of dates for it release 2!!!i LOVE the book!!!!!im sad that edward left for a long time, but jacob was cool!

i have not yet read the book but i plan on buying it tomorrow. i can't wait to read it cause i really enjoyed her first book, Twilight. i recently read that one (about a week ago) and was thinking i can't wait for the sequel to come out and i found out tonight that it was already out so go buy it!

I haven't, yet... I have read Twilight, though, and I absolutely love that one
