Somewhere in your control panel you can customize your settings to block these out.

I'd recomend Zone Alarm also. I have the Zone Alarm Internet Security Suite and that comes with a parental control which judges which pages are appropriate based on the score they have. Most porn sites don't have a score or rating and are auto blocked.

I don't think there is software that blocks only pictures it would have to block the whole site. That is software would recognize certain words that it can stop but not be able to recognize pictures.

There are programs you can buy such as Netnanny or Cybersitter, that do a good job. But the best way is supervision, there is no fool proof effective way to stop it these days, its everywhere.

The only solution would be to throw away your computer. Nowadays porn is everywhere, and easier than ever to access. You cannot block it completely, successfully. I have the same problem with my nephew, so I completely restricted him from using it.

Norton/Symmantec provide software to do such a thing, it runs on Goverment controlled public access terminals over here. pretty hard to override too.
