I'm writing a book and I was wondering how many people actually read books anymore. I think if its not Harry Potter or something about 9/11 then its not worth reading. Is that how you really feel?

If you were wondering, my book is about how despite all the terrible things that could happen, never give up. To stay on path to the true things in life and what can make you really happy.

I read all of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants books, and all of Dan Brown's novels. I've got the 4th Sisterhood book pre-ordered. I don't really have a lot of time for reading (with two kids and PTO stuff to do) but I do enjoy doing so when I have time.

I love to read. There is a lot of good reading out there and it's not all about Harry Potter, or 9/11. Personally, I can't stand Harry Potter. I would much rather read Stephen King or Patricia Cornwell, or Dean Koontz. John Grisham and Sidney Sheldon are grest too.

I love to read. I do read the Harry Potter books but I do not read about 9/11 (still too personal). I love Stephen King but I also like Jodi Picoult and they are very different writers with very different styles.

The problem with most people today is that they are just so busy that they cannot find the time to read a good book!
I read at least one or two books a week! This makes me appear nerdy to my friends but I do not care! I love to read!

I read more often lately, and it's not Harry Potter or something about 9/11. If your book is good, in my opinion, I'd be glad to read it.

I love to read and I read a lot of different books. Some of my favorite authors are;
J.J.R Tolkien, Isabelle Allende, Earnest Hemingway, Carson McCullers, Andre Dubus, William Faulkner, Shakespeare, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, John Steinbeck, Harper Lee, Maya Angelou, Roald Dahl and so many others. I also love to read poetry, short stories, legends and fairy tales, everything about mythology, books about different and or lost cultures and history.
What kind of book are you writing? I hope you will finish it and that you will be able to get it published because I would love to read it.

Yes, I read. I enjoy reading. I feel books that are too big are too long for me to read. I want to finish a book in 2 weeks or less than a week.

I read regularly. Comics, though but I don't consider it "inferior" like many other people. If I don't read my comics, I'll go nuts! I learned alot from comics. More then what some people would think. In the X-men comics I learned about outcasts, misfits, and how cruel some people treat other people simply by their outer appearence or what they believe in.

I do. If they're mystery or a good family worthy western, and I'm home, I read a book out loud, to my cat. I love to read, esepecially in winter with a good much of hot orange cocoa.
