Ya, I liked The Outlaw Josey Wales, also Unforgiven, Cold Mountain, and The Missing.
Recent comedies: Taxi, Without a Paddle, 50 First Dates, The Longest Yard, and Scary Movie 4.
I agree though, in general movies suck sweaty balls big time. They can't even make decent popcorn anymore.

I really don't know the answer to that question but man are you right. It seems that they literally do not understand how to make good movies. The last really good movies I have seen were V for Vendetta and Memiors of a Geisha...Hostel as well the rest of them....garbage!

Movies are becoming obsolete, because people are spending more of their leisure time answering stupid online questions instead of going out and watching hollywood movies.
Plus actors that used to be big draws like Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson are revealing themselves to be total dorks and that doesnt help encourage people to go see movies either.

I think you're wrong. You may feel that the movies aren't as good just because the tastes of America have changed.
Yet, sadly, it IS true that America is being a little harsher on teh movies of today, and there are certain genres that are becoming overplayed. *COUGHCOUGHspiritmonsterhorrorCOUGH*
