Yes, he went by that name early in his career. I didn't know he'd died, though. Too bad.

No, that's the same person. Do you remember the old TV show ROOM 222? If I'm not mistaken he went by B. Kirby, Jr. in the credits.
He was a wonderful character actor, probably best remembered for CITY SLICKERS or GOOD MORNING VIET NAM. We'll miss him.

I remember he played the young "Clemenza" in the Godfather, part 2. Good actor. Sad to hear of his passing.
