You are probably right, that's why you don't mess with girls older than you during teenage years! You will probably have several "heartbreaks" to deal with, before you get out of your teen years, but it is part of growing up. You have to learn to deal with it. She doesn't belong to you, so you don't have something to lose! If you start acting "crazy" or "possessive" with her, you will turn her off from even being your friend.
The tables will probably turn somewhere down the road, where a girl younger than you falls for you. When it happens, remember this time. Treat her the way you would have wanted to be treated, and not the way you probably get treated. Also, remember when you turn 18, younger girls will legally be off limits(jail bait). Your 17 year old friend is probably thinking about that with you!

Sweetie, find a girl your own age.
A 13 year old and 17 should not be together. She's thinking about graduation and college and your just starting high school. Not a good combo. You're both at different stages in your life, at your age 4 years is a big age gap.
Sorry to tell you, although I'm sure on some level you already know. There is no way that you're physically and/or mentally ready to be in a relationship with a girl that much older then you.
I'd be really surprised if she didn't find someone her own age that she's attracted to. Unfortunately for you, there's nothing you can do to stop her because you won't be able to give her what she wants and needs.

OK what 17 yr old in her right mind is with a 13 yr old, which as a mom isn't old enough to be going out with anyone in the first place. She needs to grow up and see people her age and you need to wait a few years before you even start to worry about seeing anyone.

firstly, purely as a results of fact somebody says they love you, does not advise they mean it. I communicate from experience here, the two on the receiving and giving end. Secondly, there is loads of developmental transformations between a 13 12 months previous and a 17 12 months previous. i do no longer unavoidably mean adulthood, nevertheless it is that, too. Biologically, and psychologically, a 13 12 months previous is many times in a rather diverse place than a 17 12 months previous. you're purely getting into puberty, jointly as he's rounding on the tip of it. Thirdly, nevertheless you assert which you at the instant are not likely to be having intercourse, this desires to be pronounced - he ought to get into criminal subject if the two certainly one of you do get intimate (and that's no longer purely defined purely with the aid of intercourse). in lots of states, somebody sixteen or older having intimate family with somebody below sixteen can get into loads of subject if father and mom come to a call to make a case approximately it. As somebody who has a splash sister of varieties it is around a similar age and in an identical quandary, i'm providing you with a similar suggestion i'd supply her. Use your head in making judgements and be sensible approximately making your judgements. as properly to the failings i discussed above, if it relatively is something which you will would desire to conceal from you father and mom, in the long-term, I promise you it is going to only be a rigidity on the relationship, and on you.

She will leave you, and she should. Sorry.
That is way too much age difference.
Since you are not even old enough to be able to handle it, emotionally, when she does leave you...the best thing you can do is to start making female friends your own age.
Hopefully, that will provide enough distraction to keep you from going nuts.

There is really no chance that you will never break up with her eventually and she will be moving on with her life soon. I suggest you just enjoy the time you have with her. Do not have sex though, she could get into serious trouble and I'm sure you don't want that.

Yeah, kid. She will. Get a 13 year old girl. As soon as she turns 18, kiss her goodbye, because you'll be jail bait, anyways.
