What Dr M said. To put it in miles:

earth diameter is about 8,000 miles
pi * diameter = 25,132 miles circumference
pi * diameter + 3.78 miles = 25,144.62 miles
or about 12 miles more

That was the hard way. The easy way is to simply take the 10,000 feet and multiply it by 2 (it adds to both ends of the diameter) and divide by 5,280 to get miles (3.79 miles) and multiply by pi (11.9 miles). You don't need to do the math with the earths diameter. The distance added to the earths circumference will be the same as the circumference of the amount added to the diameter.

2 pi*(r+10,000) - 2*pi*r
= 2*pi*10,000
20,000*pi

where r is the radius of earth in feet
