I was on the internet and some guy said that the real reason why blink split up was because tom and Mark were not "Geting Along". Is this true or just a rumor? also wheres T-RAV in all this??

the lead singer was taking some pills to change his gender, and it didnt work out right, and his voice kept changing weirdly, so they split up, but now there's angels and airwaves

it all started when Tom started Box Car Racer. the only reason he invited Travis to be in it was because he didn't want to pay for a studio drummer. Mark got mad because he felt like Tom had betrayed him and Blink182 but putting his music talents in another band. So they kinda worked that out, but not really. What a lot of people DIDN'T know, was after that fight... Mark and Travis started a band called Plus44... and didn't tell Tom about it. So saying that Tom and Mark "didn't get along" is just the simple answer. They both felt betrayed by each other, and it's hard to work in a band feeling that way. It's hard to even hold a friendship like that. So now, Tom has Angels And Airwaves (which is an AMAZING band.) And, I believe, Mark and Travis still have Plus44. But also, while Blink182 was in the beginning stages of breaking up, Travis was with The Transplants. But that didn't last very long anyway.

So you might want to check that out I was shocked myself by what I read. It said that Tom was tired of touring. Please email me back I would like to hear your opinions on this subject. Just check out my page and email me through there. I am a Blink 182 fan 150% and I didn't think that they would ever break up. Blink 182 inspired me to play guitar. They are one and still one of the best bands today even if they don't tour anymore.

I don't know for sure why they split up - I didn't hear that.
