Okay I'm headed to Vegas next week for four days and three nights...I want to do soo much, but we are on a limited budget...can spend no more than 500 bucks! What do you recommend that I see the most and why? and anyone know of any good eats that aren't too expensive? I want to make the most out of my trip.

There are many free things to do, sight seeing costs the least.

Things to do:

Lions at MGM,

Bellagio Fountains

Conservatory at the Bellagio

Ethel M Chocolate Factory (7 miles from the strip)

Fountain shows at Caesars Palace

M&M world (although if you want m&ms it does cost)

so many more that can be done that does not cost alot.

Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay ($15)

Eifel tower at Paris ($12)

Roller coasters at Statosphere and New York New York these range from $13 to $16 per person.

Imperial Palace Has a vintage auto collection it costs $7 however you can print off a coupon for free entrance on there web site www.imperialpalace.com

You can walk up and down the strip to see all kinds of things, or for $5 you can get a bus pass for 24 hours.

go to www.vegas.com and look around you can make $500 last one person as long as you don't gamble or pay for drinks.

However that being said make a budget, include some indulgences and have fun.

Oh you will love it.. we liked eating at The Montecarlo cafe, it is well priced, good service and lovely food, it is not high class or anything but nor is it fast food/burger joint. Definatley go and see a show, O by cirque du' soleil is amazing, or perhaps see Celien Dione, ( if she is your cup of tea) We saw Elton John last year and will go and see CD this year. Don't bother with the blue man group... some great bits, but it is very repetitive. If you can afford to go to the grand canyon then do it, amazing! there are a lot of free shows and things, try going on to the web site TRIP ADVISOR- you will get loads of info from people on that. Try going to Down Town vegas- golden nugget etc for cheaper gambling tables - like $3 black jack.. have a great time!
oh also if you are a late riser in the mornings.. ( as we are cos we stay up nearly all night) then go to the buffet for breakfast and then if you are there at the right time they start to bring out the lunch food too, so you get to try some of that too! Doesn't mean you have to eat double, but you get more choice.
good luck

I live in Vegas - this is my advice - first thing is stay off the strip and downtown. Try to get a hotel at a local casino (Stations, Coast are a few of the big ones they have several hotels all over the valley) Most casinos offer free play if you sign up for the slot card do this at as many casinos as you can. The points you earn could lead to a free meal but at least a discounted meal. Word or caution - only play until you use up their free slot play. The strip is a lot of fun at night just to walk down and see all the different casino attractions. (This can be done in one night) As far as shows you can get big discount on show the night of the show if you go to the ticket desk and ask for a discount on unsold seats - I have got up to 75% off doing this. There are so many fun things to do here in Vegas depending on your likes or dislikes.

Have a great time here in Vegas.

Make sure you go to the Tourist Bureau and pick up your fun-books. Fun books are free and entitle you to a lot of free goodies - like souvenirs, food and drinks. If you have a limited budget but a car try staying outside Vegas at the Nevada Landing - it used to coat under $20 a night on weekdays. Spin the wheel outside Circus Circus for More free goodies. Aladdin is also a lot of fun. Enjoy!

not sure how low of a value variety you're speaking or in case you like to be on the Strip or are keen to be off, etc. on the Strip Tropicana is an older place which you will get for exceedingly much less high priced Flamingo in case you're keen to pass up somewhat in fee, it rather is been remodeled and has very staggering rooms Off the Strip Downtown places are exceedingly much less high priced in spite of the undeniable fact that i haven't been in any of their rooms to renowned what the rooms are like. I think of Golden Nugget might have respectable rooms. close to the airport on Paradise Rd there's a inn, i choose to declare terrific Western or some thing like that. it rather is in basic terms some million mile from the Strip and the rooms are staggering adequate.

Your best food deals are in the downtown section. There are plenty of thinks to see on the strip, the casinos alone can suck up four days
