does lip gloss look good on people who have light skin or would lip stick be better?

Lip gloss looks great on everyone as long as you don't over do it with the shine. If you have large lips take a little and dab 3 dots and massage lips together, if you have smaller lips you can go ahead an put it all over.
If you want something with colour go for a tinted lip gloss, because it gives the same sultry look, adds shine and colour.

I really think it depends on the person.

Usually, light skinned people should try tinted lip glosses just because it brings out the lips more. Darker skinned people (i've noticed) have more pink or red pigmentation which is emphasized with gloss.

So i'd suggest just putting lip gloss on but lining in your lips with a nice liner and then rubbing it in. I love doing that because it adds such a nice hint of colour.Or just get a tinted lip gloss from The Body Shop or wherever. Rimmel has some nice lip glosses. So does L'Oreal. And of course there's the wonderful Bonnebell.

But it just depends on the individual and what you're comfortable with.

Lip gloss looks good on everyone, regardless of skin type. I have super fair skin and gloss is about all I wear, especialy in the summer.

I love tinted glosses, especially L'Oreal's Color Juice Lip Gloss and Cargo.

Lip gloss looks fine on anyone no matter what the skin color. Choose a color that isn't too pale or bright and wear it over lipstick. It will last longer and give a nicer look/consistency.

Too light a color could 'wash' your skin color out and too dark or bright would be too much of a contrast.

well it really depends on the color u use but lipgloss can look good on anyone (depending on the color) because lipgloss just givs ur lips a fuller look and makes them look shiny and lipstick is good too i have pale skin and i use both lipstick and lipgloss to first i apply the lipstick and the i apply the gloss afterwords the lipstick makes ur lips smooth and soft and gives thema color while lipgloss make themshiny and makes them complete and adds more color u should use both most stylist do tht they apply this way the lipcolor saty on longer and looks way better then if u use lipgoss or lipstick alone
