What would cause a Red Weeping Japanese maple to turn green in August? I have not over fertilized & nursery?

said it should stay red.It did this 2 years ago too.Anyone know why this happens.?

Where are you? Do you get Cold, freeze, frost? Perhaps early fall affect. We are on the less sun per day cycle, and trees know it.
