Sing something you truely feel strongly about, your favorite song, that you could totally relate to. If you put your whole heart into the song as if the person you are singing to is right in front of you! Anyway it's not so much the song its how much you mean it when you sing it. Pretend your all alone, as if noone was looking works well, forget the crowd completely. Have fun

As your audience, will be mixed, in ages and sexes, it's best to sing a well known popular song. Preferably by one of our nations best song writers.
They have great words and music, that everyone can enjoy.
I'd try Cole Porter, for his words and music. They are always a hit, or George Gershwin and his brother Ira Gershwin, who wrote many classics.
You can Google them both, and see the songs they wrote, then pick one that will best show off your voice. Being classics, the words and music will be easy to find.
Good Luck.

you need to choose something that is popular and well know. Make sure the song isn't challenging for your voice. Sorry I can't really recommend a song coz it really does depend on your voice
