proactiv is the the same thing as all the other products. the active ingredient is benzoyl peroxide. they only make it seem soo good because they have the 3 step system [cleanser, toner and moisturizer] and celebrity endorsements. get a facial cleanser for acne with benzoyol peroxide in it or salicylic acid.

That appears to be like a more effective intern difficulty. you ought to bypass to a dermathologist, he will verify what type of pimples you've and prescribe the right treatment for you. each now and then its taking some pills besides as cleasing cleansing soap and topical creams. some human beings doesn't opt to bypass to the rfile and want the project solves with some miracle product like proactive, inspite of the undeniable fact that it really is a constructive time you're dropping attempting that stuff. a short visit to the well being care provider will sparkling up the project

Proactive works but you can just go to your local pharmacy and get Neutrogena Acne Cleanser. It works really well and prevents breakouts. Also I prefer Neutrogena products because they don't contain sodium laureth sulfate which is not good for you and although a very rare chance, can end up in skin irritation and disease.

i have really minor acne and proactiv didn't do anything for me...and i used it for like 5 months, it just made me break out more. i don't think it's worth the money or the hassle of trying to buy it online or over the phone.
check out acne free, i hear it's the same as proactiv but under $20 for the whole set and you can get it at rite aid, target, or walmart.
try neutrogena's line of skin care as well as their makeup.
hope all goes well!

I'd rate it a 9. I took one point away because it looks like you have to keep using it and you can't buy it stores. I've been using it for nearly 3 years now and it works perfectly. It even cleared up scars. I would definitely recommend it. I wish I had some before and after pictures to show, but I didn't take any before I used it.
The problem is....if I stop using it for about a week, my acne slowly starts returning. I'm glad it works, but I don't want to be bound to proactive for the rest of my life you know?

Proactiv does work but many many other things work just as well. I like any products by Clean & Clear! Good luck

I would recommend trying proactiv. I use it and I know several people who have used it. It works on existing acne and to prevent it in the future.

Yes It works! I've used just the toner, one of the 3 steps and it has worked miracles on my face.

I'm not so sure if it works. I just tried it one time. I need to do it more for results. the stuff smells strange to me. I think there's some fragrance in there
