5^2 - 4*6 / 3

Order of operation is PEMDAS:
Parentheses
Exponents
Multiplication
Division
Addition
Subtraction

So:
= 5² - 4 * 6 / 3
= 25 - 4 * 6 / 3
= 25 - 24 / 3
= 25 - 8
= 17

You can also type "5^2-4*6/3" into Google and get the same answer, as a double check. (Google uses ^ to mean exponent).

The answer is 17
