versus the convenience of takeout,fast food, or restaurant?

as a pro. firefighter, i or i should say we cook lunch and dinner 11 times a month, breakfast too on the weekends, sooo to answer your question including @ home about 26-28 days a month.

Maybe 2 to 3 times a week. My husband is a better cook and we do like the fast food.

I cook for myself every day, eat out maybe once a week It's mostly that I'm a good cook an will not pay when I can do a better job myself

Three times a day except once a week for lunch and once a week for dinner.
I also make two snacks.
Eating right is nearly a full time job. I can see why historically, humans have needed one adult or more running the home and one or more earning a living!

Out of a 7 day week I might eat out 2-3 times and cook the rest of the time, if you want to call my cooking "cooking".....LOL.
