when i try to open up my email the computer keep shutting down

you may have a virus thats what happens when the virus is ravaging your computer. get a virus scan like norton or something.

It sounds like you have a virus! It has in the past been called a denial of service virus.
Try this:
Power up your computer.
After pushing the start button press and hold down the f8 key.
Soon you will see a list of options. One of them is "Safe Mode".
Select that and hit enter.
Windows will look very strange now but it will load without a lot of drivers that can give you trouble. Find and run your virus checker.
If you are able to boot up but just not able to get to e-mail run your virus checker there.
If it finds nothing then you have a problem with your mail program.
You may have to re-install it. If you have a server side mail client, such as Yahoo or Gmail then there is nothing to re-install.

virus most likely yahoo as today yahoo entered when u log into ur account if u want anew code to get into as phishing is on the rise bad crap .. get aol or msn email hotmail.. and dont use yahoo email and browser. ..

u might have a virus go get it checked
