I asked a guy at work if a man he knows there was single-the guy wouldn't give me a straight answer so of course I know now that he is married--I think he told the man I am interested in that I had asked about him (I know- its like high school again-god) I think at work Friday this married man may come up to me to talk-- we have been checking each other out for awhile- how do I handle this well- I want to say something like- "your hot and I wanted to ask you out but your married so forget it...".how do I keep it light and not awkward-- plus I know I'll be nervous as hell-so I can face him at work every day without wanting to hide -- what should I say to my crush that wont hurt him or humiliate me?

Yes I would love to see this man- its a bad crush-the problem is he is married and the guilt and all the hell that would come with it- I don't think I could live with it-- Its a horrible situation -to want someone that badly you can't have- not in a healthy great way--something real- not just sex

You can say I think you are good looking and I wouldn't mind getting to know you better, but I heard you were married is that true? Cause if so I don't want to add temptation to you or get in the middle of your marriage. But if not would you like to meet later for a drink? It works every time trust me.

Dont say anything. All he is doing is feeding his ego a little. All guys like to have girls interested in them, even if they are married, it's part of nature. Just let it go and don't think this is a singles bar all of a sudden. If you really need to get it out of your system, close your eyes and think about him while you rub one out for yourself. Don't pursue it, do you really want to be know as "the other woman"???

Just come out and say "I don't date married men" and you can't be more polite than that. Do you really want to beleive he is married or not. Don't date a married man, in the end you will be the one who gets hurt.

Make small talk and work it around to asking him if he's seing anyone or married. Check for ring or an un tanned spot where ring would be. If he's married, end it, don't tempt him to cheat.

Just tell him u appreciate the interest but you are married and that is against my morals of messing around with someone who is married.

I would talk casually to him. If he asks you out for a drink or to lunch say to him, " I would love to but I dont know how comfortable that would be considering your married" If he says something stupid like " I wont tell if you dont tell" Smile and tell him thanks but no thanks. Chances are if he approaches you he is just looking for a piece anyway.
