If he is your best friend's boyfriend, then why is he asking you to homecoming? Is he planning on going out behind her back? Wouldn't he be concerned that if he did, somebody would see that and inform her?
If you value your best friend's friendship, then you'll turn him down. If you tell her he asked you, she may not believe it. Does she have any idea that you do like him?
This is an awkward situation. In my mind, true best friends are a lot harder to find than guys. So if you want to remain best friends with her, then you need to tell him you can't possibly go out with him. Maybe also let him know that it wasn't right of him to ask you. Is this his way of making her mad so he can break up w/her?
Lots to think about. Hopefully you'll find a way to solve it.

Your BEST friend's boyfriend asked you to homecoming ... are they still dating? I wouldn't even go there if they're still dating, your friend might say she don't care but then she could start thinking well they like each other or stuff like that, trust me, she might see you two laughing and think she's trying to take him from me, or something like that!

That would be the worst thing that you could ever do. you will regret it. Find your own date that isnt going to cause problems between your friend. Not only will your best friend be mad,but other people will start thinking what kind of person are you

I am assuming you bestfriend is no longer with the boyfriend, but either way, JUST SAY NO!!!!
(Unless you don't really like the friend because no matter what your friend says, it's never okay)

Who is your best friend going with? Find out if it is ok with your friend before saying yes, if it's not, is it worth destroying your friendship for?
