Well, if you disturbed it enough to bleed it will be swollen, red and even painful for 2-3 days. Just keep it clean. If it gets infected you will see the white pus, then go to the peroxide or bactine. You may even need to remove the earring and clean it (if you feel the need to, but it'll hurt!) No doctor needed on this one!

might be infected. Just go to your doc. the same thing happened to me with my second holes which i got 3 weeks ago. However, it turned out the earrings needed to be loosened cause if the hole cant breath it gets puffy and red. Good Luck:)

It sounds like you tore your ear a little. Possibly an infection has set in despite your efforts to clean it.

I think you should see your doctor.

They may well prescribe some antibiotic medicines

They may also tell you to take out the stud/sleeper and leave it out so the hole closes.

You might need to get a repeat piercing later when it all heals (some months down the track)

...

or you might even STOP PUTTING HOLES IN YOUR SKIN where infection can get in! :D

u probably just irritated it when u put on the helmet. u also might have ripped the hole a bit when the earring came out. i would just keep cleaning it with the ear stuff and if it gets worse, like if its starts oozing out pus and stuff go to your doctor.

sounds like an infection to me...i get them all the time. dont take your earrings out!!! jsut leave them in! jsut keep usuing the cleaner stuff...it should go away with in acouple of weeks. dont irritate it either. jsut leave it alone and 2-3 times aday put a couple drops of the cleaner on boths sides.
