In the beginning trimester of pregnancy, you can surely bend over. It wont' be difficult to - until around the last few months.
I'm 6 months pregnant with twins. Although my babies are completely protected, and surrounded by amniotic fluid which keeps them safe...I still refuse to bend over. I just have the fear, that I'm going to smush my lower one!

I'm 37 weeks and I still bend over a lot. But, I have extreme pelvic pain. I don't know if that's from bending over or not. But, I'm very active. I just put together a hello kitty storage unit about 3 feet tall. Every pregnancy is different. Contact your doctor. Light bending shouldn't be an issue. However, I was told by a friend that stooping is better.

I don't know...are you ABLE to bend? Then yes, if you can't then it's no.
I had no problem bending until my 7th month...by then I was as big as a house and bending was just a laughable comedy! I gave that up fairly quickly when I could no longer tie my own shoes!

It will not hurt you to bend over until you are so big that you can't bend over

Sure! It gets more difficult as you get further along with the bump in the way, but I was a lot more flexible while pregnant than I was before or after. Congratulations, btw.

Nothing will happen if you bend. Late in pregnancy it will be more difficult. It is perfectly safe.

Yes, until your belly is too big to allow it!! Towards the end you'll even have a heck of a time tying your shoes.

Sure--why not? Women for thousands of years have been having babies, and I'm sure most of them bent over a lot too.
If you have any questions, ask your doctor.
