All water is a finite global resource. There's a thing called the 'water cycle' whereby water is consumed, expelled, joins a river/watercourse, discharges to an ocean, evaporates up to a cloud and then falls as rain or snow/hail. So, water is everyones asset. The water companies dont own it, they just own the infrastructure that transports it and treats it.

Huh? It's my water and you ask why? Well, because I got my lazy *** up to go get a glass and pour some water in it. So why should anyone else get to take the water when I was the one who got up to get it?
