I want to download stuff for my phone free but all I see is websites with subscriptions or where you send it to the phone. I want some like Zedge.net where you download them to your pc then transfer over via cable or bluetooth.

go to tonethis.com. You have to download their free program but you can use it to make as ringtones as you want from any mp3 file. The great part is you can choose any part of the song you want. You can also use this program to send backgrounds for your phone.
